The purpose of this policy is to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. It also ensures that no individual is placed at a disadvantage by requirements or conditions that are not relevant to their role or performance. We value each person as an individual and recognise the importance of diverse perspectives, cultures, lifestyles and circumstances. This policy applies to all employees and covers every stage of employment, including recruitment, selection, training, deployment, career development and promotion. These areas are continuously monitored, and our policies and practices are updated when necessary to ensure that no form of unfair or unlawful discrimination—whether intentional or unintentional, direct or indirect, visible or hidden—takes place.
